Sizing Of PE Valves
One good rule of thumb regarding sizing of PE Valves in a system is, that the pressure drop through the valve will be equivalent to short radius elbow plus five percent; i.e. if the actual tube size going into the valve is 7/8", then use the data for a 7/8" short radius elbow plus five percent.
